Malefixio surgió en Barcelona en 2016. Este trío demoníaco crea una forma oscura y ritualista de deathrock, a caballo entre el post-punk más sombrío y el deathrock clásico.
Su sonido se despliega a través de Culto a lo Invisible (2018) y Magia Ceremonial (2022), alcanzando una expresión más oscura y visceral con el single Estoy Dentro (2024). Atmósferas densas, ritmos contundentes y una intensidad cruda definen una obra alejada de la mera nostalgia.
En directo, Malefixio ofrece una experiencia oscura y directa, combinando letras esotéricas con una poderosa intensidad ritual y atmosférica. Tras haber girado por toda Europa, la banda se ha consolidado firmemente dentro de la escena neo-batcave.
Han tocado en conciertos y festivales en España, Francia, Reino Unido, Bélgica, Alemania, Italia y Finlandia. Malefixio es un acrónimo formado por las palabras maleficio y defixio.
2016 La banda se forma en septiembre en Barcelona.
2017 En febrero se publica su primera demo con 2 canciones en Bandcamp.
2018 Publican «Culto a lo Invisible», su primer álbum de 10 temas publicado por Fairy Dust Records.
2022 aparece su nuevo álbum «Magia Ceremonial».

Malefixio is a contraction formed by combining two words in Spanish: maleficio (spell, curse, hex) and defixio.
2016 The band was formed in Barcelona in September.
2017 First demo with 2 songs was released in February on Bandcamp.
